This warden message is to inform the American community of two small explosions that occurred in Rangoon, Burma on Sunday, April 20, 2008.  The first occurred at approximately 8:00 p.m., on the corner of 36th Street and Mahabandoola Street near ABC Beer Pub in downtown Rangoon.  The second happened approximately an hour later, between Traders Hotel and Central Hotel on 32nd Street Upper Block.  There are no reports of any injuries or fatalities at this time.  We have no credible evidence about who might have planted the bombs.  There have also been similar incidents in the past, but the Burmese Government has not made public any evidence as to who may have perpetrated them.
