Emergency Passports

If you need to replace a lost, stolen, or expired passport for travel within three weeks, the Consular Office can issue you an emergency passport.

Important Info on Emergency Passports

Emergency passports only have a one year validity, and contain only a few pages for visas and stamps. They may not be extended and extra pages may not be added. Please plan your onward travel accordingly.

Lost or Stolen Passports

If your last passport was lost or stolen, complete and submit a completed form DS-64, Statement Regarding Lost or Stolen Passport.

You should report your lost or stolen passport to the police station nearest the incident, if possible. Request a copy of the police report for submission with your application for a new passport.

Application Procedure

Follow the directions found under Renewing a Passport, and include form DS-64 if needed.
