Crew Visas

Our Consular Office processes both crew visas (D visas) and transit visas (C-1) for crewman joining ship in the United States. The C-1 and D visas are issued separately for Burmese crewmen. The usual validity for a D visa issued to a Burmese crewman is 24 months. The usual validity for a C-1 visa is three months, and is good for a single entry.

The Consular Office does not accept visa appointments from crewmen directly.
