Administrative Processing

If a Consular officer has told you at the end of your visa interview that your case will need to undergo “administrative processing” you will be contacted as soon as this processing is completed. It does not mean you have been found ineligible for the visa; it means the Consular officer needs to take further steps to be able to make a decision regarding your application.
